PoolSmart Privacy Policy

PoolSmart is a mobile app for managing pool leagues, fixtures, scores, standings, players, and league history. PoolSmart is owned and operated by CrewSmart Ltd. PoolSmart is not an internal CrewSmart app; it is intended for any pool league, pub team, venue, club, or informal group that chooses to use it.
Information We Collect
PoolSmart may collect and store the following information when you use the app:
- Player or admin name.
- Mobile phone number, where provided by a league admin or user.
- Profile photo, if a user chooses to upload one.
- League, division, player, fixture, score, standings, and match history data.
- Access-code account identifiers used to sign users into the correct league.
- Device notification tokens if a user enables reminders or notifications.
How We Use Information
We use this information only to provide app functionality, including:
- Creating and managing leagues.
- Linking users to the correct league and player profile.
- Displaying fixtures, results, player profiles, and standings.
- Allowing admins to manage players, fixtures, rules, and league history.
- Sending app notifications or reminders where enabled.
- Maintaining app security, reliability, and support.
Access Codes and Accounts
PoolSmart uses access codes rather than public usernames and passwords. A league admin can create a league and invite players using access codes. Access codes help ensure users join the correct league and are linked to the correct player profile.
Photos
Users may choose to upload a profile photo. Profile photos are used only to display the user's player profile inside their league. Users do not have to upload a photo to use the app.
Third-Party Services
PoolSmart uses Google Firebase services to provide authentication, cloud database storage, cloud file storage, cloud functions, and push notification support. Firebase data is used to operate the app and is not used by PoolSmart for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Data Sharing
We do not sell user data. We do not share user data with advertisers. League data is visible to relevant users within that league so the app can display players, fixtures, scores, and standings.
Tracking and Advertising
PoolSmart does not contain third-party advertising and does not use user data for tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
Data Retention
League and player data is retained while needed to operate the league. League admins may update players, fixtures, scores, and monthly history through the app. You can contact us to request deletion of a league, player profile, or related personal information.
Your Choices
- You can update your display name and profile photo in the app.
- You can choose not to upload a profile photo.
- You can disable notifications in your device settings.
- You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information.
Children
PoolSmart is not specifically directed at children. League organisers are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate permission to add and manage player information for their league.
